Apple devices are known for their good quality, good performance and better durability; therefore, these devices are used all over the world. Hence Apple MacBook devices are preferred by the students all over the world for their education.

Difference between MAC and WINDOWS

• Macintosh and Windows are two different computer systems that work on two different operating systems. The mac is based on Unix based operating system that is designed and sold by Apple The mac operating system is used on devices like: MacBook.The windows is a different operating system which is designed by Microsoft. Some of its versions are Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.
• Mac computers have a built-in security system and are less prone to attacks by viruses most of which come from the Internet. Mac OS X was designed with security as the top priority, and this was successfully achieved. The Windows operating systems don’t provide built-in security that’s why users have to buy antivirus products to protect their computers. These antivirus programs need to be updated regularly so that they can protect from new virus threats. Now since Windows systems are used more widely, hence many viruses are designed to attack them. These viruses cannot attack Macs since the two operate using different file types. Windows is also more vulnerable to being hacked by other people who may want to access some information from your computer.
• Macs are designed to use graphics and multimedia services like photo editing. These are used by students mostly because they are easy to use.
• Windows are mainly used for office use hence it comes preloaded with office applications that are designed by Microsoft that is called Microsoft office.

Advantages of mac over windows

1. The build quality of Mac-based computers are made of had material like aluminium which helps them to prevent damage and helps in long run.
2. Mac-based computers have inbuilt security features so that user don’t have to purchase them separately.
3. Since windows base is so much larger hence mac is less vulnerable to virus threats.
4. Mac-based computers can also run windows operating system whereas the windows-based operating system can’t run Macintosh operating system.
5. Mac-based systems don’t come with extra loaded bloat wares like windows.
6. Although mac devices are costlier then windows but they provide better value for money to the customer or user.
7. Mac-based devices uses innovating design which Windows-based devices doesn’t.
8. Mac-based devices uses very compact and sleek design which looks more impressive then Windows-based This design also makes the looks of Apple devices sleeker and more stylish and makes them lightweight.
9. Mac devices uses flash technology which is also called as Thunderbolt technology which is used to transfer large files at very high speed which is not available on Windows-based

Mac-based systems provides better quality of the materials and features all together in specific price range whereas in Windows-based devices if your pc gets outdated or version of your windows operating system gets outdated, then there is no choice other then to buy a new computer with improved or better features.

Disadvantages of mac

1. Nowadays most people love to play games on their computers, so Windows-based devices are more compatible to play games.
2. Windows-based devices have more choices in price range, features and many more whereas in Apple devices there is fixed price.
3. Windows-based devices can run basically any type of app whereas mac devices cannot.
